I told you it was a monstrosity. To be fair to the neighbor (that Ive never met) they do keep it up, he just re-stained it last fall and put new covers on it a few weeks ago. Also when the neighborhood is over, they (the adults) always seem to be out there with all the kids. But its huge, the pic doesnt do it justice.

It was there when we bought the house. No I do not care that they have it. If it was made of cardboard, yes Id have a problem with it.

Actually I think the house and assuming the Monstrosity is up for sale. (at least thats what one of the neighbors told me)

Honestly I don't really see the problem with that. It's pretty big but it's not like its rundown or something.

It doesnt take much to blow cardboard, heck the wind was blowing my garbage can this morning after the trash people came.

 

Its not the people walking on the grass I have an issue with, its that cute little doggie of yours that likes to take a big ole :poop: in my yard. My own dog leaves enough :poop: for me to deal with.

 

I was yelled at by an older gentleman the other day because I was walking my dog past his house. He stomps out of his house and tells me that the sidewalk, as well as his yard are private property and I need to stop having my dog poop in his yard. I've never allowed my dog to poop in his yard and anytime my dog does poop, I make sure it is cleaned up. Just brings the old, grumpy man stereotype to life.

If im trying to sell my house in that neighborhood its an eyesore.

 

If I was a resident around this house, and this is up just for the day and taken down. No biggie, its up more than a day, Ive got a problem with it, and unlike Getslow, I am the guy who calls the city.

 

Somewhere your inner child dies a slow death. This was a cardboard castle, not a bunch of trash. Let the kids play as long as the boxes hold up. It was not intended to be a long-term fixture.

It was cardboard trash...point blank, and looked like crap. That said, if he was out building it with the kids on a couple of nice sunny days, have at it. After that, it comes down, and if not, then there are issues.
