Who has experience using Adaptive Cruise Control?

 

I do and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

It is awesome and my ride gives me three distances to set it at (meaning a distance that I want my vehicle to keep from the vehicle in front of me). I use the middle distance option.

I don't have it. But I don't have to take cruise control off to adjust my speed. I just adjust it down with the lever, and when I can resume, I can just push the lever up twice and it will resume my last setting before I slowed it.

Sounds pretty cool.

Considering my Focus didn't have cruise control at all, I feel the Camry is quite advanced.

I have "around adaptive" cruise control. I set my cruise where I want, and everyone "around" me had better adapt.:woot:

Lots of Ford And Lincolns come with ACC... Even the F-150's.. One of my favorite options...

I've never driven a cruise control-equipped car with the intuitive ease of use that Toyota's cruise control has.

In a perfect world that would be something. Could you imagine how nutso that would make some drivers behind you?

 

And all kidding aside, when computers drive cars I am sure that is how it will be with set distances between all vehicles.
