Robby Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Can a person simply walk up to the Rupp Arena ticket window and buy a session (morn. or eve.) ticket on the day of the games?

Robby Posted March 15, 2015 Author Posted March 15, 2015 Yes. And plenty of scalpers too. I bought a ticket once from a scalper: my seat was in the middle of the band! Does each team have a specific section designated for their fans? What is the price range of tickets?

All In Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 If you want anything lower arena and not in the endzone, scalpers are your only option fro any session
Robby Posted March 15, 2015 Author Posted March 15, 2015 If you want anything lower arena and not in the endzone, scalpers are your only option fro any session I couldn't find a dislike button for this one! But thanks for the info.
sumoroyal Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 I never have gotton my State tournament tickets. The KHSAA said they were lost in the mail. They have to re-issue them and we have to pick them up at Rupp Wednesday morning. Over the years they have messed my tickets in anyway possible, but this takes the cake. Also, they were not mailed until March 9. Why so late? If something like this happens, it gives you very little chance of correcting the problem. Dealing with the KHSAA is like getting a root canel. Real Fun!!!!
blueandblack14 Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Collins sold out of their first allotment of tickets, requested more, and then quickly sold out of those tickets. The KHSAA won't be sending any more so Collins is completely sold out.
broadcaster240 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Sumo, make sure the KHSAA knows...and the rep from your area too. No doubt they are always looking for a better (and less expensive) way to do business, but March 9th seems ridiculous. They need to know about screw-ups so they can address them in the future. Hope it works out all right for ya!
Mustang Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I have Thursday, afternoon session, lower arena, center court seats available. See Advertising Section
sweet16 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I have never bought from a scalper. Any tips? Don't pay too much
Robby Posted March 17, 2015 Author Posted March 17, 2015 I have never bought from a scalper. Any tips? I hope not to use a scalper, but I am going to have a Rupp Arena seating chart with me, so that I can see where the scalped tickets will be seating me.
