I know their are some region championship games to still be played, but looking ahead, I think this year the Sweet 16 is wide open!

4 of the top 10 teams in the last BGP rankings are out now. (Henderson, Trinity, NCC, Central).

I still think Ballard is the favorite.

Ballard will be a heavy favorite. I like Taylor Co. also. They have played a tough schedule.

I'm assuming all of the regional championships have been played & the field has been finalized, but I haven't seen the actual bracket yet. Anyone care to share?

1.Ballard

2.KCC

3.Taylor county

4.Cov cath

I think Knott Central has a shot at winning it all from the bottom bracket. Maybe facing CovCath in the finals.

We may see Taylor/Cov Cath and Ballard/KCC next Saturday!

Not yet you still have regions 1,2, 6,7, and 16th to play their finals.

I think that looks right to me.

Next tier would be (if they all get in):

Doss

Owensboro

Lexington Catholic

Hopkinsville

Boyle Co

I don't know enough about Bowling Green and Calloway Co to know if they should be in that group or the next one.

Sweet 16 Bracket

2014/15 Kentucky High School Boys Basketball

Still have 4 regions to go

For whatever reason, I find that Williamsburg / Region 6 winner game to be the most intriguing (and tough to figure) 1st round tilt. If it is Williamsburg and Doss I will be very interested to see how that plays out. That game and Boyle Co. / LexCath are the only two games where there isn't a fairly clear-cut favorite in the game...in my opinion.

That would make for a heckuva Saturday night in Lexington -- who am I kidding, regardless of the four left, it will be a heckuva Saturday night in Lexington.

Wouldn't be so sure on CovCath. Campbell County isn't the same team they played earlier in the season. It will be a close one.
