Wayne played SW 3 times. Wayne was 17-23 16-19 and 29-39 from the line in those three games. 2 fts does surprise me.

When they penetrated they seemed to score but they got to a point to where every shot was on the perimeter and Boyle did a great job of contesting but not fouling. Wayne would get the ball up the court so quick and have a shot off before the defense would have time to adjust or make a foul. The shots just weren't falling and the Rebels did a great job on the boards.

Wayne County hit contested shots most of the night until late in the game. I was impressed with their ability to even get some shots off against the defense but to make them as well was amazing. On most of their made shots there was nothing the defense could do without fouling them.

Sounds like Boyle did a tremendous job on defense. When Woods and Blevins go 7-26 from 3 and no fts between them they are in trouble.

One of their top games as a team defensively this season. They need to be as intense and focused on defense tonight to close this out.

I felt the game went they way both teams wanted to go, fast! I was really impressed with Bell's tenacity in the 4th quarter. He drove to the basket midway through the 4th, missed his shot but overpowered everyone to earn a trip to the line. Just one play that really sticks out, I felt he played harder in the fourth than I had seen him play in the previous 7-8 times I have seen Boyle play. He had some really good defensive possessions on Blevins and Stearns in the 4th as well, forcing them to take jumpers and contesting them really well. Bell also has been making his free throws at a high rate, which is important as a point guard in late games.

But, I feel the rock of Boyle is Tyler, he was just great offensively. He was able to get anything he wanted and also shot a nice percentage as well.

Fun game to watch.

Bell was a true leader last night. Showed grit and wanted the ball in the last few minutes because he wanted to be the one knocking down the free throws. Of course Hagen Tyler played well like always, but Bell really stood out to me. I have been critical of him some this year, but he showed how to lead a team last night. That's probably collectively the hardest I have seen Boyle play all year. They had the look in their eyes, that Wayne quite frankly didn't. Great bluegrass basketball to watch that's for sure!

Doesn't really matter but who keeps up with blocks because Elkins had at least 5 and you have him for 3 if i read that correctly.

That's irrelevant, there is no stat for how many shots he alters. The kid played like a man last night and I'm glad to see it. Not being a fan of Boyle or Lincoln helps me give an un-biased opinion, but man I love watching that kid when he plays like he did last night. He could have had 3 blocks, he could have had 5, but his presence in the paint creates way more of a problem for the other team then just "a" blocked shot would or ever could. Going to be a great one tonight.

I believe this is the first time all year that after Boyle game that referees were not mentioned. All i will say if they can hold Lincoln to shooting 2 freethrows tonight they will win championship.

This game is all about composure (IMO). Boyle appears to be the more athletic team overall. Lincoln appears to be the more skilled team overall. If both teams play to their strengths it will be a crazy good game. In the 1st 3 matchups, that really has not happened.
