March 9, 201511 yr I'm against the death penalty but I am fine with them getting life in prison with no chance of parole and other prisoners getting to "take turns" with them at will. Other prisoners don't take kindly to people in jail who abused children. So just give them the death penalty and save some time.
March 9, 201511 yr I am against it because of how it is occasionally used without enough proof. This story is enough for me. I am less in favor of the death penalty than I used to be, for the reason you named here. This instance is one reason why I'll never be totally against it.
March 9, 201511 yr So just give them the death penalty and save some time. Crash, I used to feel the same as you and admit I am still conflicted with the death penalty. There are some people who I have NO PROBLEM seeing getting the death penalty and these clowns would be on that list. However, I have these problems with the death penalty in general: (1) if the justice system makes a mistake or has a corrupt DA or judge and an innocent man is convicted of a capital offense, once he is killed, it cannot be fixed later (every year you here of people wrongly convicted of crimes and let out of prison many years later). (2) a poor person is MUCH more likely to get the death penalty than a rich one who can pay to "lawyer up" and avoid it. That being said, if these clowns get the death penalty, I will not lose any sleep but in general, I am against it.

March 9, 201511 yr Anyone who thinks that evil does not exist needs to read this. The district attorney says Gary Fellanbaum and Tait went car shopping, bought pizza, took a nap and engaged in sexual activity - all while the child lay dying after weeks of relentless torture. Tait allegedly told police that Fellenbaum beat her 6 and 3-year-old boys on a number of occasions. He would allegedly hit them with a closed fist in the head, face, chest and buttocks, and on one occasion she says he strung the boys up by their feet and beat them, while she and Fellenbaum laughed.
March 9, 201511 yr Anyone who thinks that evil does not exist needs to read this. That IS pure evil...
March 10, 201511 yr As most know on here, I object to the death penalty because it is too easy a punishment for the convicted. So I'm still against the death penalty, especially in this case. This outfit should be subjected to every beating and mistreatment administered to that child, up to the point of death. Then they should have they're injuries treated and their health recovered. Once sufficiently healed, they should be subjected to the punishment again. This process should be repeated until they die of the repeated injuries or go mentally insane, at which point they can be euthanize.

March 11, 201511 yr Nothing that we come up with would be enough for these people...an eternity burning in hell would be a start though.
March 11, 201511 yr I'm a very firm believer that the punishment should fit the crime. I don't think I could thing of enough heinous things to so to these animals.
March 11, 201511 yr Sounds an awful lot like the death penalty to me. hahaha Yes, but they always get to live the nightmare every day and can live to a "ripe" old age. I should rephrase, though. I'm against the death penalty as we perform it, now, especially in this case.
