Is this full equipment, touch, flag or what?

Full contact, identical to a real high school game but with lots of oxygen tanks on sidelines and a squadron of ambulances

Uhh, what position do you play?

I'm too smart to engage in full contact football at my age or atleast to scared I would get broke in too

Click on the link in post #6 , it is a short video showing enough game footage to get the idea what it is like

The thought of playing football in an alumni full contact game frightens me. I still play in an alumni baseball game back home, and can manage to compete a little (still can catch a few innings even at nearly 45 years old). But no way am I putting on the gear and playing football. In my mid 20's I was going to play semi pro football in Pennsylvania. I went to a few practices and decided it was a terrible idea.

It looks like this event is well run and raises a bunch of money.

If healthy and invited to an alumni game like this I would have hopped on it in a second, even at the ripe old age of 48. With that said, it's probably a terrible idea and I find it hard to believe this sort of thing actually happens. I would guess it's an insurance nightmare. Looks like it raises a good amount of money though, so that's cool.

The experience of playing one more game and being on the field with some guys I haven't played with in a while or didn't get a chance to before can't be matched, Crowd was great and the atmosphere at War Memorial was just as remembered, Hope it's the same for the Tilghman game as I know it was a good fundraiser for the athletic department, I would recommend it to anyone who gets the chance with their school.

Will you play against PT in this year's Alumni game?

As of this moment no, I've got a lot of things on my plate, can't say that won't change with the phone calls and texts I've received, I will be there to support either way and know it will again be a great game, would be nice to get another shutout

Last years game between Mayfield and Graves Co. was an awesome game and atmosphere. I cant wait for this years game, however I don't think the attendance will match last years game.

Just found out about this game, definitely going to be there..
