Top 5 (Or 10) Favorite Songs From Your Senior Year Of High School

Featured Replies

1997

In no particular order

Marcy Playground "Sex and Candy"

Notorious BIG "Hypnotize"

Third Eye Blind "Semi-charmed Life"

Foo Fighters "Everlong"

Wyclef Jean "Gone til November"

Harvey Danger "Flagpole Sitta"

Master P "Bourbons and Lacs"

Mase "Feels so Good"

This made me realize how much my taste in music has improved.

Great thread.

Unfortunately, I have to balk at some of LB13's list. Pretty sure some of that list was actually 1985. Autograph was the performer at Kings Island's senior night that year, and since "Turn Up the Radio," was their only hit, I'm thinking it had to be a spring of 85 song. Stong list though, LB.

Also, before making my list, I'd like an exemption as i prefer to think of the songs of your senior year as the 12 month period between June of the end of your junior year, and the following June of graduation.

Album "Sign in Please" was released in October 1984, song charted in January 1985

Whenever I think of "senior year" music the first band that comes to mind for 1981 is Styx.

Our class song ('81) was "These are the best of times" - Styx...

I still have this on vinyl. From their 1972 debut album. First time I had ever heard of the Wooden Nickel record label.

My favorite year in music. One of my best friend's had gotten his driver's lisence in June and that was our first summer of cruising town. All of these great songs from 1974 playing in a VW bus.

Our class song ('81) was "These are the best of times" - Styx...

As was ours.
