If your running game is real good. You don't need to pass much in HS football. If you win the battle up front the game is much easier.

You can be good. I don't think you can win championships with just a running game. You have to be really, really good with a high level talent to win a championship without a passing game.

Dixie did pretty well with 0 passing game. Ran over much of NKY. I agree when you face guys just as strong/big you need to pass!!

They were as good as I have seen running it in a long time. Great line. Plus they had a great running option at QB. And they didn't win a championship. Not to mention there was a game or two along the way I believe where Moore had to wing it effectively to help the cause.

Dillon Powell ran a 4.52 40 at UCs football camp fastest time of the day. There was 9 colleges at UC camp today.

Jacob Smith is at the Ohio Dominican football camp today he was invited to this camp. Hopefully they like what they see.

The bar for college RB's is set really high. Surprised that none of the kids on this list hold offers at some level yet..is that a slap at NKY football? I'm sure most of these kids have the same or close to the same success in some of the other banner programs.

I believe Marian University has offered Jacob Smith all though they are a small college. Also Morehead State is very interested in him he had a visit with them recently.

This an offer or a visit. Numerous kids have been contacted by Marian and if you look at their roster, there is not one kid on it from Kentucky. Morehead State has been hot and heavy in this area as well.

 

I would be interested in hearing who has "offers" on the table and where they might be from. All the talk in the spring and early summer had me thinking there would be multiple kids with multiple offers.

I don't think its a slap. RB is a very hard spot to get a D1 offer at.

Hope some come soon. This time of year d1 has offered lots of kids already. That's why your JR film is the most important.

Nky has a history of OL and QBs. The last two D1 RBs were? The kid from Ryle? and SKs Simpson then RB from Highlans?? In the last 10 years.
