February 20, 201511 yr I work downtown, grew up in NKY. My dads side of the family is from the St. Louis area and he's a huge fan. Passed that onto me. Yuck.

February 20, 201511 yr Author Look at his twitter account and take a look at the most recent picture he posted....It's calling for like 12"-16" inches for Boone, Kenton, and Campbell. :ohbrother:I don't think NKY will see that amount. I'm saying 4-6". Take into account the snow amount maybe less because of the possible icing.

I noticed the same thing about him last year while reading his blogs. Winter weather seems to get him pumped up more than any season and he likes to forecast the worst possible scenario. His 7-10 inch snows many times turn out to be 1 inch or less, or rain.

Company is putting up a group of us after our shift tomorrow during the day in the event the roads are treacherous which I suspect they'll be until the temps get up into the mid 30s and the precip changes completely over to rain. In 1977 this area had 18 days in a row that the temps reached zero or below. That winter had 28 days that saw temps at or below zero.
