Xavier 59 Cincinnati 57

Ole Miss beat Cinci in to the ground earlier in the season so I would be shocked to see them fall behind them on any "curve" now. As for X they lost to Auburn who is HORRIBLE and Long Beach State. There is absolutely nothing special about Xavier.

A H2H game in November is a not a huge factor. If it comes down to those two teams on S-curve, it matters, but beyond that, it would barely come up. Auburn is their worst loss, for sure, and it was on the road in 2OT. Long Beach State is a likely Top 100 team...not a big deal. Ole Miss has a HOME loss to a Charleston Southern team worse than both of them. Stuff happens.

Xavier is going to be in the 7-10 range -- who said they were "special"? I'm just saying they are more special than Ole Miss....that is all. :bunny:

To further back that up playing a lot of good teams and losing doesn't make you a good team. As best I can tell the two best wins for Xavier this year are Cinci and Georgetown. With horrible L's to Creighton, Long Beach St., and Auburn.

Georgetown, Providence, @Georgetown, and @Cincinnati would be their 4 best wins. They have two more Top 25 RPI teams on the schedule, both at home. Ole Miss has one team left that "might" end up in the Top 50, the Georgia game, and that is one they really need to get. In Oxford, I'm sure they will.

I just sent Ross Bjork a text and told him he needs to hire you to do PR and Midwest recruiting for the Rebels.

Really? You want to compare bad losses? Charleston Southern, TCU, and Western.

I'm not defending Ole Miss at all. I don't understand how in the world they are so high right now. I'll take it, but I don't get it.

One thing about the Charleston Southern game was Ole Miss was missing a few starters for that game. I'm not one to really make excuses at the end of the day it's still a loss, and it's a bad one at best. A horrible one in reality.

Ross has been great for Ole Miss. Our last AD was hated by the fans, he basically only wanted to talk to the million dollar donors.

I thought I just survived my first earthquake. Turns out it was only a thud from when MTGL dropped that name.:taz:

XU strength of schedule is now #18 in the nation.

Lunardi has Ole Miss 32, X 33, and UC 40.

UC has an uphill climb to the tourney now in my opinion.
