Yeah but also Mason has already played Campbell in Campbell and won by 14 and played Montgomery in Montgomery and won both times by 16 & 9.

 

 

These are not the only teams that will challenge Mason Co. You can't go by who won in regular season as many have posted in this thread. Agree Mason should have no problem getting out of the district, but the region is a different story. There are several teams that could get on a roll and beat them. On winning state, the 10th region got a VERY difficult draw. I don't see any team from the 10th winning state this year.

Let’s be realistic, anything can happen at tournament time. If anyone should know this better than the rest it should be Mason County. They have had a great year but that doesn't mean on a given night that someone can’t beat them. You just never know in a one game scenario. If there are upsets at the District level, they could easily face a top 4 team in the first round of Region. First thing they need to do is take care of business in the District. Taking it one game at a time is the best strategy. Getting past St. Pat should be their only focus at this point.

But I think Mr Henry might want to worry about getting out of the region first before making predictions they'd beat Newcath or Covcath at Rupp...should the Royals get there.

Mr Henry mearly made the prediction. He isn't focused on State till we win Region (If we do). Right now hos eyes are set on Woodford Co, then Bishop Brossart, then senior night vs Fleming.

The Royals scrimmaged NCC in the summer, yes they lost, but the team is better, they have learned from mistakes they made vs Lex Cath & Lincoln Co. Region 9 has 3 storied programs, Cov Cath, NCC & Holmes. This will defo be a fun 3 weeks.

Well, quite frankly, he did tell me this while sitting in 3rd period, he also told me though he is looking at Woodford Co, so lets see how he does vs Woodford.
