Kentucky's class for next year.

Featured Replies

Towns will be a top 5 draft pick.

Lyles could be a top 10, but should certainly be selected in the lottery. Although he hasn't played exceptionally well for Kentucky, he might have the highest ceiling.

Willie Cauley-Stein is one of the best athletes in the country, but his limitations offensively might hurt his draft stock. I think he's gone, too. He could sneak into the lottery but will certainly be a 1st rounder.

Dakari has improved his body, but I think he lacks the type of athleticism to play in the league. If he declares, I think a team takse him late in the 1st with the goal of developing him, but he'd probably be better served in college for another year or two.

The Harrisons are wildcards. There is no doubt in my mind that they want to go pro, but they're not a lock for the lottery. Hell, they might not even be a lock for the 1st round.

I think Poythress' knee injury forces him to come back to Lexington.

Ulis should be back.

I don't know what Booker will do. I think he could go pro, too, although he might be better served coming back for another year & developing physically. At this point, Booker isn't a lottery pick but could turn into one with another year to mature.

There is no way that Harrison twins are a lottery pick. Last I saw they were projected something like 34th and 37th pick.

I looked at several mock drafts this week because of a discussion on the twins and Rozier. Here is the consensus of what I saw:

Towns - top 5

Booker - up to 10-15 range

WCS - Lottery

Lyles - mid to late 1st round

Dakari - late round 1 or early round 2

Harrisons - mid to late round 2

Jaylen Brown reminds me a lot of Stanley Johnson. Good comparison of how he plays GT?

She seems a little crazy too, but maybe that's just me.

Just look at her Twitter account.

I hope Maker can reclassify, he is sick IMO.

Is Newman's decision completely hinging on Harrison's decision?

Also if they could add Ingram, Brown, Newman... Look out.

Wasn't it said a while ago Ingram was a lock to Duke or Carolina?

I think WCS right now wouldn't be just sneaking into the lottery, he would definitely be in the lottery IMO. If his offensive game was better he probably would almost he a lock for the number one pick. However his offensive game limitations only stops him from being the top pick, it won't stop teams from taking him in the lottery IMO.

That's one complaint I have with Cal...Willie should have been shooting 500 shots a day from the high post and wing. He has to be able to knock down that 18 foot jumper at the next level to be a stud. If he could make that shot he's a top 5 pick easy.

My personal opinion is that Lyles is under-rated at mid-to-late 1st round. Great feet, moves up and down the floor really easy, and shoots with confidence. Athletic enough to be a good defensive player as well.

How exactly do you know he doesn't work on that shot 500 times a day???

And without that shot he's a top 5-10 pick....:idunno:

Cause he won't try even one shot in a game. If he's worked on it for 3 years he would have a shot. It might be an ugly one. But he would have a shot.

So you don't know. Got ya...

I've seen him shoot a 12-15 footer at least 5-6 times this season. Remember him draining one in a critical situation against Vandy a few weeks ago.

Lol. So you guys are making the case Willie has this devastating shot and he's holding back until pro workouts? Hilarious.

I'm claiming you don't know what he does or doesn't work on. Because you don't...
