Will UK Basketball be better next year?

What do you guys think? Lose 4 seniors and Rondo, will they be better next year?

I think they'll play better as a team... They did lose some good talent though, some people are trying to act like they've lost nothing, and have everything coming back and then some. That's just not the case... Sparks, Moss, and Rondo were all very good players who were quite significant to the team.

 

That said, I think they'll win more games and get a better seed, but I don't know if that will really make them 'better'. Anyone see what I mean?

I am not making a Florida comparrison nor am I trying to say the same will happen. I was just saying you never know how things will play out. On paper they should not be as good but who knows how they will come together.

I'll say this... Tubby tends to make teams overachieve when we have considerably low expectations... And my expectations aren't the highest they've ever been, so that could be a good sign. Last year going into the season, we had high expectations.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to beat a dead horse. It was the first comparrison that popped in my mind. I don't think UK has a chance in heck of making the final four much less then winning a championship. I am just saying you never know what the chemistry will be like and a good team chemistry and attitude can win you a great deal of games when the talent isn't there.

I think they will make a complete turnaround just like Flo...... nevermind, they will be lucky to get a five seed though IMO.

There is no reason the, "This is Kentucky" recruitment route should land at least 2 McDonalds guys a year. I mean "This is Kentucky." Tell them what and how you will put them in the pros. There is no excuse to the lack of talent. People keep talking about the freshman coming in, but I haven't seen them because they weren't in the biggest high school game for the best high school players.

We All Know the All-American game don't prove anything............

 

Yeah It shows how good players are, But A lot of players get left out.

 

And I'm not saying anyone going to UK should have been in there.
