14 Days of Valentine's Day - 2015

And I certainly do not deserve it, lawildcat. You can take my word for that one.

You're preaching to the choir, my friend. I have no idea what I did for God to send Mr. Cat to me but I thank Him each and every day for doing so!

Just gave my wife her annual bouquet of "You and I both know that it's a ridiculous waste of money to buy you roses on Valentines Day, so I didn't buy you roses, and I didn't buy them on Valentine's Day" flowers. She's at the kitchen counter arranging them in a vase with an ear to ear grin at this very moment.

I just re-read this and realized how much it made me sound like a louse.

For starters...I get my wife flowers a LOT more than "annually"...the annual bit just refers to this particular arrangement of flowers. Also, she loves being surprised and even doted on from time to time, but almost even moreso sometimes, she LOVES being surprised and doted on without having money spent for little or no reason. That's part of the reason why she wanted her engagement ring to be an estate ring rather than a brand new one...more ring for less money. Anyway...I actually bought her 5 little bunches of "seasonal special" flowers from the flower shop instead of roses. That way, A) there was less money spent, and B) she got to arrange the bouquet herself, which is another thing that she absolutely LOVES. Win-win. :lol2:

I stash it away, like a squirrel and live on it through the winter.

Actually I ate the fruit fairly quickly.

I just finished the doritos tonight.

I have eaten a little bit of the M&M's and a couple of the other candy bars.

My dad took the cookies.

And I haven't touched the goldfish or the gum yet.

Alas, all good things must come to an end.

This morning, I received a very sweet, very loving, hand-written letter from my bride. She is such a blessing to me and I can't imagine living one day without her.

We share a lot of good times and a few rough patches, but through it all she is my constant. I would drift about aimlessly if not for the strong tether that anchors me to her. She is a rock.

Thank you Mrs. 2C for 14 days of fun and the daily anticipation. I have enough sugar free snacks stored up now for a long time :D

Happy Valentines Day!!!

I saw a copule of repeats this year. Mrs 2C needs to make sure that doesn't happen again next year.

I'll mention that in her quarterly performance evaluation.
