I am pretty sure James Risley of St. Francis and Charles Thomas of Walden would be on the list if their schools submitted stats. Risley, a sophomore, is averaging around 16-17 points a game.

Is it safe to say that Sutton is also leading in rebounds as well

I know I'm opening myself up for a blasting, but the fact that Spalding only averages 12.8 is amazing to me.

Why is that amazing?

Maybe because he's 6'10 and only gets 12 points a game that is amazing

I am a Raymond Spalding fan and believe he is the best player in the state. However, it may be difficult for some people to be convinced that he should be Mr. Basketball when he is not in the top 15 in scoring in the region.

Do you know why he only scores 12 points a game? Do you understand the system at Trinity? If you understand the circumstances at T and still believe he should be putting up unworldly numbers because he's *6'9, then that my friend is "amazing".

Have only seen a couple people advocating for him as Mr. Basketball after his 26 point 18 rebound performance.

It is my understanding that many people around the state know if he was at a different school with a freer system he would be top 3 scoring in any region.

Well how many rebounds does he get or is that the system too

Plus this thread is not about Spalding scoring or lack of, so lets move on

He doesnt help himself much by shooting 44 for 102 (43.1%) from the free throw line.

All of this, points, system, free throws, consistency etc has been talked about ad nauseum.
