WEATHER ADVISORY FOR FREEZING RAIN...SLEET AND SNOW...WHICH IS IN

EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 9 AM EST SUNDAY.

 

* HAZARD TYPES...FREEZING RAIN...SLEET AND SNOW.

 

* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION LESS THAN AN INCH...ALONG WITH

ICE ACCUMULATION OF LESS THAN A TENTH OF AN INCH.

 

* TIMING...SNOW...SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN WILL DEVELOP THIS

EVENING AND CONTINUE OVERNIGHT. TEMPERATURES WILL WARM ABOVE

FREEZING SUNDAY MORNING ENDING THE WINTRY THREAT.

 

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES ARE EXPECTED DUE TO LIGHT SNOW AND

ICE ACCUMULATIONS.

No this is not the same one I've been watching.

This advisory has just been canceled.

So what is the Ohio River valley going to get tonight into Monday ?

Mainly rain then when the temps drop tonight you might see some flurries or light freezing rain. little or no accumulation is expected. Some parts of EKY may see up to 1/2" of snow by Monday afternoon.

 

 

I will post an update this afternoon or early evening if there are any major changes.

Except for an occasional dusting or snow squall, unless something brews in the Gulf of Mexico the kind of snows that are going towards Chicago, Detroit,etc. won't happen here(south of the Ohio River). Like I have said before, if we are going to have snow, bring it, if not lets get the 60's and 70's in here

There was a little bit of sleet in Warsaw, but didn't amount to much.
