With 4 more years to go I think you are overlooking a major contender!

You're right. I thought about Highlands but I don't think they'll be able to catch either one.

Rockcastle County's playoff record in the 2000's is: 16-6

Wrong again keep trying.

Trinity is 25-2 in the playoffs since 2000 with 4 titles. Is anyone better?

OK, I had to go check Boyle and they are 26-2 with 4 titles if my math is right.

Several of us have posted laudatory comments about Coach Smith at Boyle. Were his accomplishments greater than Glaser's or Beatty's? After all, his school does not have a huge enrollment disparity, as do T or X, he never had a Brohm (T), he doen't have a bevy of 300 pound O linemen (X), and nobody argues that Boyle has the easiest road to the finals year in and year out.

You can't argue with Coach Smith's success. He did something the other two didn't, build a program up from the ashes. Both Beatty and Glaser deserve credit also for running successful programs at the highest level under tremendous pressure.

WE have won 4 state championships....you would have to win all four of the remaining championships to garner that, and that's not going to happen.

You must have meant Danville. With 3 titles and a runner up already, they are definitely in the mix to be the team of the 2000s. :sssh: We just need to beat the County a few more times and win a couple more titles before the decade ends.

St.X could very easily win 3 out of the next 4 which would tie plus have 2 other runner-ups. Yes it could happen considering the talent in the program and considering the fact that St.X we has been in the last 3 straight state title games. And don't forget Danville could be in the hunt as well.

How long has St. X been playing football?

How many times have they won 3 out of 4 state titles?

Best of luck.

There is a first time for everything! St.X has never been in a better position to do so.

^ St. XAVIER HAS NEVER REPEATED UNDER GLASER. and believe me, last year was their best shot, and we see what that got them...COMPLACENCY.

Since when have they done anything easily?

You are acting like they have already dominated this decade and they are 1 for 6, Trinity is 4 for 6. That's domination.

That has nothing to do with the future if anything you learn from your mistakes and it only makes you stronger. Also St.X best chance of repeating is with the Jr./Soph. class. All I am saying is that it can be done!

Maybe a separate thread would be good for the T / X debate.

Why is everyone always trying to kick us out? I just don't understand it. :irked:
