PC hit 9 3's in the first half.PC led at the half 47-36. It was tied 56 all at the end of the 3rd. with 5:31 in game it was tied 63 all.

 

PC with without starter 8th grader Allen. Reported he should be back next month.

Don't think Mason is the clear cut favorite to win the 10th as some has been posting. Anything can happen on a given night.

Pendleton County was red hot and still lost. It's going to take a big effort and a good night to beat Mason County.

They were hot the first half and cooled off and only made two 3's in the second half and only lost by 6. They also was without one of their starters.

Anyone know if Mason County starters Amani Thomas and Ryan Johnson have returned to action yet?

Mason still doesn't use Henry like they should, u gotta feed the big fella.

Johnson returned tonight and finished with 16. Thomas' ankle is still not 100% yet. Should be back in action next week I'm assuming.

There was a Johnson playing and did very well. I listened to the pre-game interview and O'Hearn didn't mention any players being out.

Pendleton was red hot period the whole game. Shot 75 percent from 3 in the first half (9/12) even though they didn't make as many threes in the second half they still shot well. Ryan Johnson started and scored 17 I believe. Amani is expected to be back Tuesday for the game against Paris... Hard to beat a team that hits 11 threes but the Royals did it tonight. Dorian Henry had 21 and 12 I believe.

Royals are still the best in the 10th right now. When PC shoots well they are a different team. They could win the 38th. I think we all know by now "any given night and any of the top 6 or 7 teams could beat one another". It'll come down to who is playing the best at tournament time.

Not down the stretch, when they really need to score. PC did not score for 3 minutes after the 5:31 mark. When it was tied 63 all.

 

Credit to Henry for cleaning the glass when they missed giving them no put backs or rebounds.

Hoping those same people that made those predictions for this game will do so when Mason plays Augusta in District Tournament. That being said you can be as hot as you want but you don't beat Mason County with the score in the 70's, you have to keep them in the 50's or low 60's like Lincoln and Catholic did and Augusta did for 3 quarters.
