Nasty Boys: The 1990 Cincinnati Reds at 9:00 p.m. ET on MLB Network

CC is the MLB channel on TWC?

Check channel 537 area.

I also loved the story of the fight that broke out against the Mets in the hallway between the locker rooms after brawling on the field.

Watched it after the UK game and absolutely loved it. Great little documentary.

I wish our society wasn't so politically correct these days and a team could get away with those things again. Sure would make the Reds more fun to watch. Those guys played with such a fire.

Love watch Charlton run over the catcher, giving his best Pete Rose impression.

That wasn't just a catcher. That was Mike Soscia (SP?) and he was, at the time, considered to be the toughest catcher in the league. I remember watching that live.

Sweet Lou vs Dibble.

That team just loved to fight. Anyone.

This was awesome. That team had the best attitude they had to be a blast to watch.

For those of you who got to watch sports in the 80's-early 90's I can't tell you how jealous I am.

My brother in law has never forgiven me for costing him money. He was late teens living with us for a while. Wanted to make a wager for the WS through a guy at his work who was in Vegas at the time. 50 to 1 that the Reds would sweep. I told him what a fool he was and would not lend him the money. He only had $10 so he won $500. Still says I cost him $4500.

Absolutely loved that team. There's no way they weren't going to win it all that year!

Great story. We were huge underdogs so I'm not surprised it was 50 to 1.

I remember McCarver saying after the clincher that the Reds were the best team that the A's had played all year... DUH! Damn dummy!

The Big Red Machine in the 70's was full of hall of famers... That said, the 1990 team is still my favorite championship team. You never knew what one of the nasty boys might do... Not to mention seeing Larkin, Davis and O'neill in their prime...

Sabo was great for a couple of years too.

Wish the 2015 Reds could take some attitude from the 1990 Reds...

Was in attendance at Game 2 of the Series. Atmosphere was electric.

Boy, when it got to a 3-0 lead you can bet I was hoping the Reds would lose one as I KNEW I would never hear the last of it. I was right. Of course my story was that I wanted them to lose so they could clinch at home.

Not sure, I have made the switch to DirectTV. I think it used to be in TWC, though.

My DVR recorded the show but haven't watched it yet.

Was a ton of fun and after game 4, the party in downtown was awesome and guess what, no fires were started and no riot police needed. Good clean fun.

I was in my late teens, early 20's in that period and I didn't appreciate how good it was. You're right, I wish I could watch again. Lakers-Celtics, Pistons bad boys (done very well on 30 for 30 on ESPN), Oakland A's, Michael Jordan, Cowboys dynasty just starting. It beats what we watch today.
