Underrated player in the region. Slade is a do-it-all player: terrific scorer who's shooting has improved tremendously, solid point guard, and very good rebounder.

The reason that you don't see Elkins higher on the list is that in going for the blocks he is out of position to get a higher number of boards. This does open the lane up for Tyler and Bell both doing a good job on the boards.

Elkins is the best shot blocker in the state. Nobody changes the game defensively like he does. Teams will literally quit challenging him in the lane after the second quarter. Otherwise he'd average 10+ blocks a game.

He is still averaging slightly over 6 rebounds a game.

I'm not sure Danville got a shot off in the paint during the first quarter last night. He had 3 blocks in that quarter.

And after that a large majority of their shots were jumpers from outside of the paint. Mostly from the 3 point line.
