Those numbers are not accurate .. They may be what the khsaa are showing but not accurate! was told tanner Johnson is averaging 24+ this year . Have seen many catholic games this year and I'm sure That list is incorrect! Prepspin said last night on the LCA catholic broadcast he was averagining 25 and was leading scorer in 11th region.

DJ Jenkins was averaging 17.4 at scott county they have his name in 2 of the games he couldnt play in scoring 0.

*Fleming County has only reported stats for 6 games.

**Greenup County has only reported stats for 5 games.

***Bath County has only reported stats for 4 games.

Also note that East Carter and Raceland have not reported stats for any games this season.

I looked at Lexington Catholic's stat report on KHSAA and they have submitted 4-5 games with just the players that played in the game but not their stats for the game. This would obviously lower Tanner's average overall bc those games count as a 0 in the overall count. I thought it was suspicious also when I saw it said he was only averaging 15 points per game. I know Darius Williams, Matt Rose, Taveion Hollingsworth, and Ryan Schneider's numbers are correct. I didn't go any further down the 11th region list then that.

My next question would be how would KHSAA police something like that? It reads as if Lexington Catholic had entered stats for all games but when you click on the game individually there are no stats listed just that players played in the game. I'm afraid the stat issue will never be completely up to the standards KHSAA expects or we as fans would like to see, really is a shame.

23.9 Darius Williams (Dunbar)

23.2 Matt Rose (Lexington Christian)

15.9 DJ Jenkins (formerly of Scott County)

15.5 Quinn Pergande (Sayre)

15.0 Tanner Johnson (Lexington Catholic)

15.0 Bradley Atkins (Berea)

Where did you find this information?

In the 6th region I know Richard Gaines is averaging about 28 ppg for PRP and Brandon Johnson is averaging 27 ppg for Jtown.

I'm not sure about the 14th region but my best guess would be that Perry Central's guard Braxton Beverly has the top ppg average in the region. Knott Central's Cam Justice is probably in the hunt, but he tends to split points with another star on that team, Evan Hall.

On another note, it feels like Braxton Beverly has been playing since 1999. He started for PCC his 7th grade year, and played great in the state tournament that year. I don't know how different schools count career points, but if they use the points he scored as a varsity player during his middle school years, he would have to be close to the most points at that school.

Region 2

Kyler Floyd (Union) - 24.4

After updated stats, Hollowell is averaging 18.4
