I saw an article mention him earlier in the year and it mentioned that. Makes his year even that more impressive.

Played as a frosh and then came back out this year. Efforts were focused on baseball in those years. Still likes baseball a lot, but from what I understand he may be looking at continuing to play football in college.

Brett Slusher should of been on the 1st team for lb not wr imo...DJ Mills was one of the best defensive lineman I saw all year also.

 

Agree on both. Brett was best LB I saw all year. Ethan Stringer as HM RB as well. Over 1200 yds and 26 tds. Split time much of season.

I agree on Slusher being better as LB than WR, but sometimes concessions are made on these all star teams to recognize more players. Also, Slusher is a junior, not a senior.

 

Ah...concessions. So I see the game of "he's gotta go on there somewhere" continues. Holds no logic with me. Nothing against the player but if he's not one of the best at his position then put the player where they belong. It's those said "concessions" that make people question the list in some areas. The fact that no stats are listed clearly jumps out at me which is where I guess "concessions" were made.

Keep in mind this is the Enquirer all star team and not one selected by the coaches, though it would appear from the write-up that those picks were used as some sort of a guide.

I agree with the congrats, but Stokes from Beechwood played FB and slot this season, probably played less than 10 plays at TE for the Tigers, deserves to be on the team, but at another position.

I remember a BW fan telling me that he was a TE. The 2 BW games I saw he never played TE... FB/slot.
