January 5, 201511 yr I'll take this one for nWo, who is taking care of much more important things. ... VERY COLD TEMPERATURES AND BITTER WIND CHILLS MID WEEK... AN ARCTIC FRONT WILL BRING THE COLDEST AIR OF THE SEASON TO THE REGION BEGINNING WEDNESDAY. TEMPERATURES WILL FALL DURING THE DAY... REACHING THE LOWER TEENS BY LATE AFTERNOON. WEDNESDAY NIGHT WILL BE THE COLDEST... AND PLAN ON LOWS AROUND ZERO DEGREES. THE COMBINATION OF THE VERY COLD TEMPERATURES AND BRISK WINDS WILL CREATE BITTER WIND CHILLS WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING AS LOW AS 5 TO 10 BELOW ZERO. NOW IS THE TIME TO PREPARE FOR THESE COLD CONDITIONS. TAKE PRECAUTIONS TO KEEP WATER PIPES FROM FREEZING. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE HEAT SOURCES PREPARED. MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR OUTDOOR ANIMALS. CHECK ON FRIENDS AND FAMILY... ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO MAY HAVE LIMITED HEAT SOURCES. FINALLY... DRESS PROPERLY FOR THE COLD AND WEAR PLENTY OF LAYERS.
January 5, 201511 yr We have been pretty lucky this winter so far. I spent some time outside on Saturday when it was around 50.
January 5, 201511 yr Author We have been pretty lucky this winter so far. I spent some time outside on Saturday when it was around 50. We have been lucky, especially compared to last year IMO. But, there's still plenty of time for this winter to go downhill fast. :lol2:
January 5, 201511 yr I don't want to hear about your cold weather. Predicted -40 to -50 wind chill where I am.
January 5, 201511 yr I'm really looking forward to working in this stuff Wednesday and Thursday. Feeling in all of your extremities is so overrated.
