Well worth the 3 hour drive down to God's country to see this game. Would love to know how many offensive rebounds SLC had because I don't think it was many. With the height difference between the Breds and SLC didn't seem to matter much because Weyer and McDonald seem to match up pretty well. Great game by Weyer.

That game was changed when the KOB "stole" Coach Gatewood's match up.

 

SLC was supposed to play Lex Christian but when Gatewood found out about the KOB match up, he just switched the two.

Big time game for Weyer and HUGE win for the Breds

 

Heard from someone there that after McDonald made his free throws that Seth Freppon did a great job on their point guard by not letting him penetrate and forcing him to the baseline where he stepped out of bounds with less than a second left, basically ending the game. That kid plays hard all the time and does a lot of the dirty work. Good job.

Nothing flashy, just hard work and 33pts is the end result. Great game by Weyer. Hopefully he starts getting credit for the season he has had thus far from others around the state, heck even NKY. Hey college coaches...where you at???
