This was your classic "M and M-er". East Carter very limited other than a couple of pretty good spot-up shooters and ball handlers. Looked like it might be a slowdown affair early, but the Royals started raining threes against the 2-3 zone with excellent ball movement. Hit 7 in the first half; 11-22 on the night.

 

Dorian Henry led 6 Royals in double figures with 16, and reserve (and lifetime family friend) Darren Williams chipped in 8.

 

Boy/girl doubleheader at Western Brown tomorrow for Mason County; then the meat of the schedule starts next week. The next month looks like this, and will tell a lot.

They're 2-6; I know nothing about the competition.

 

They played at Mason County last season, so I assume it's a home-and-home deal.
