December 30, 201411 yr I wonder if they thought about Ray Rice? That would have been great headlines!! Could you imagine Rice facing his former team! Wow Edited December 31, 201411 yr by MentschTrachtGottLacht Word Filter Violation
December 30, 201411 yr Author Tate is garbage. 3.1 YPC this year. Ran behind the same line Terrence West (3.9 YPC) and Isaiah Crowell (4.1 YPC). He was cut by 2 teams this season and is constantly injured. Rice > Tate.Darryl, he's there for protection for ben, not for 20 carries. He's a glorified blocker with the threat of an occasional run, soon to be back on the street looking for work, barring some sort of freak performance.
December 30, 201411 yr Not sure what happened to Tate this year. He had been projected to be a pretty fair back.
December 31, 201411 yr Not sure what happened to Tate this year. He had been projected to be a pretty fair back. Hasn't that been the case with him every year?
December 31, 201411 yr From what I just heard Bell is walking around with no problem good chance he plays Saturday.
December 31, 201411 yr Hasn't that been the case with him every year? Could be, not too familiar with him before this year. I know he missed some games but don't know if it was injury or suspension.
December 31, 201411 yr So you Steeler guys think Tate is insurance and not in the plans this week? I think he gets a snap or two.
January 1, 201511 yr So you Steeler guys think Tate is insurance and not in the plans this week? Baltimore defensive weakness is their pass defense. Ben is going to be tossing the hell out of the skin.
January 1, 201511 yr Author So you Steeler guys think Tate is insurance and not in the plans this week? Yes. Perhaps a couple carries, but blitz pickup and receiving outlet will be his main focus. I just hope whomever totes the rock doesn't put it on the ground. Bell was like a vault.
January 2, 201511 yr Author It's likely gonna be a rainy slopfest on one of the worst playing surfaces in the league. Should be fun. I'd park Bell if for no other reason than the slop, even if he was close to ready.
