Mercer County 67 West Jessamine 49

Huge win for Mercer County. Especially with Hager still under the weather. The Titans are in first place in the 46th District now. You don't want to be second or third in that district.

Surprised by the margin.

Who has stats?

I see you Mercer!

Big congrats to the Titans!

Mercer moving up to 5 or so I'm the region IMO. They are going to get better too

Dare we say they are better than Wayne County at this point? A good argument could be made.

At worst they are 5th. At worst. That much is clear.

I almost said 4 but was afraid of the fallout lol

I don't have them 4th yet but I am closer to it today than I was last week. If they played and beat Wayne County today I wouldn't be surprised. I'd be surprised if they beat any of the top 3.

I thought it might take Cook a little longer than this to get Mercer playing at this level. The boy can coach.

Congratulations to Mercer!

Who has stats?

A 20 point win AT West Jessamine with Hager coming off the bench and playing limited minutes. They are 2-0 this week in district play (East and West) without a healthy Hager in either game. Coming into the season, who would've thought that could happen?

This is a team getting contributions from a lot of players. And most of them didn't even get varsity minutes last year. They are a long and athletic team that is well coached.

Stats per scoreboard:

Faulkner 18 points/5 rebounds

Dow 12 points/9 rebounds/4 blocks

Sparrow 11 points

Hager 9 points/6 rebounds/9 assists

If by limited minutes you mean 28 of a possible 32 minutes, you're right.

Appears they are going to ride him until the wheels fall off.

Ride him until the wheels fall off? I hope you're really not a coach as your name suggests. Smh
