Coach screwed up on time management and gave Owens a chance they should never have had and poor placement of D on final play by coach. Poor kids from NO.

I can't believe the North coach called a T.O. With 10 seconds remaing when he could have waited until 3 seconds then the game would have ended on the kick.....JMO

 

The coach is probably puking about now. How bad for those kids.

That is quite an ending. Hurts just to watch the N.O. players and I don't know any of them.

That TO call with 10 seconds left will haunt Billy Martin the rest of his life. I love the guy, and he has done amazing things for the program. My heart melts for him. That is literally a 1 in a million opportunity that Owensboro took advantage of.

Pure excitement right there

Great game... Ohs fumbled on the 2 yard line trying to put the ball over the goaline which would have put Owensboro up 14 with about 6 minutes to play. OHS drove the ball all night well. Gave a freebie 7 to start the game fumble without being touched for an easy TD. They seemed to own the 2nd half until the QB fumbled. NO tied with 2 mins to go then had a screen for long gain set up the FG. OHS fans felt they had it won so for the final FG to even be attempted was a tremendous letdown. Great game both teams

Happy for Owensboro but at the same time it is just brutal to think of the disappointment on the other sideline. As said above, the decision to call the quick timeout will haunt forever.
