It's funny how schools like PT talk about how they played a tougher schedule and beat some 5a schools like Graves Co but when it comes to losing to SW its because they are a 5a school playing 3a. Obviously you haven't seen PT play better competition than SW because you got handled last night plan and simple. Keep making excuses. It looks good on you. QB looked fine in the 1st half. 2nd half SWs pressure became too much for them.

You just proved my point. They are 5a schools we schedule to get ready for 3a playoffs. Because you don't know the situation about the QB you wouldn't understand. He was about 60%if that. He has a sprained ligament in his ankle wich is why he wasn't very mobile. Whatever I officially will go out of my way now to root for whomever is playing South. Your school is new and I guess your new to the game as well. Like I said keep it classy.

This has nothing to do with Monroe County, that should seem pretty obvious considering our year. But since you bring it up SW has always had significantly higher enrollment numbers than Monroe yet we're 3-2 (most of those wins Monroe actually had 2A numbers and SW 4A) against SW and unlike SW we're not scared to schedule BG as you'll see week one next year.

Please. Leave BG out of it. I don't care how many people mention BG. South Warren can't beat BG. South Warren won't beat BG. South Warren couldn't beat BG as Warren Central or Greenwood when they had the chance. South Warren won't even schedule BG.

 

I have close friends with kids attending South Warren. I love Brandon Smith because he is a Rebel and he is the best high school quarterback I ever had the privilege to watch. I'll root for him regardless of where he is at.

In hindsight did we get too excited about consecutive wins over Fort Campbell, Trigg, Webster, Monroe, and Adair? Wins over Graves (early) and Henderson (big but not good) were far and away Tilghman's best victories. Paducah Tilghman improved late but too many people misconstrued those Tornado wins as closing the gap on a really good South Warren club.

I said I believe they will compete in 4A. All accounts show they will. SW has a beefed up schedule next year as well. They have John Hardin, Central Hardin amongst others. Again SW played the schedule in front of them. They had no choice in playing their district games and as you know other games are scheduled home-home for two years. Most of those opponents change next year.

Not really in basketball. Completely different sport in terms of numbers and collision sport vs. a contact sport etc.

Collision vs. Contact is irrelevant... It is about the talent pool schools have to choose from. Or at least that is the argument being made... IMO a 3 class system in every sport would be sufficient enough especially in Kentucky.
