November 17, 201411 yr I think Pro Life is more of a morality mindset and Universal Health Care is a political concept. Someone who is truly Pro Life would not be against universal health care. With that being said, that does not mean Obamacare is the solution.

November 17, 201411 yr Author Impossible. I said fair share, not equal. And I realize there will always be exceptions to the rule only in the US far too many people believe they should be an exception which is one of the reasons why health care coverage will always be a financial nightmare.

I'm not trying to be a discontent, but who decides fair? And without oversight with government provided health care, that is a pipedream. I've long given up that it's even a possibility.

November 17, 201411 yr I think realistically speaking, who doesn't think, "Yes, EVERYONE having healthcare is a good thing."? The obvious problem being run into is the whole fairness issue, which has been brought up already. I am pro-life, in that I am against abortion and against the death penalty. It is not our right to decide whether or not another human should live or die. With universal healthcare, though, you certainly run into the situation of who's gonna pay for what how much is reasonable to expect someone to have to contribute to another persons cost of living. That's where I think these two topics - abortion/capital punishment and universal healthcare - are pretty easily separated from one another.
