The heat of the moment doesn't last 2 months.

District rivals, Male has taken Trinity's heart the last couple of season, so I'm sure it come back from last season as well.

If that's the case, then good for coach Beatty. Like I said in my post #102, I'm sure Male SOME coaching staff and/ or players were no angels during the game.

Don't coaches coach their kids about keeping their composure? Is that one of those things that's taughts as a "do what I say, not what I do" kind of things?

Throw all that out the window when it comes to a heated battle like this one. And from what I heard it went both ways, Male coaching staff yelled profanities and as a knee jerk reaction, Trinity fired back. I don't condone it. I have had the pleasure to coach young men in HS and I'm sure some of you all on here have as well, heated battles brings out the worst of your personality.

In the end, coaches make decisions, some they are proud of, some they may not be proud of, but they make them all in the public's eye. While some like a coach with a fire, some like a coach to maintain a certain level of quiet restraint. Neither is wrong, just a difference of preference. Coach Beatty has proven his ability and will always be seen as a benchmark for Kentucky High School Football success. With that, we will put this topic to bed and see what topic tomorrow evening brings.
