Don't expect an answer. The Raceland fans have come to the conclusion the some people seem to wish to tear down a program that is proud of the way it is. I have been asked to inform you, and anyone else that may look to cause trouble, that the Raceland fans do not wish to interact with you.

Wow. So you're speaking on behalf of all Raceland fans now. I know, I know. I just wouldn't understand. Keep them drinking the Kool-Aid Ram.

For those of you that asked how to add someone to their "Ignore List", click "account" in the upper right hand corner of the page, then scroll down on the left to "Edit Ignore List" and paste the person's screen name you wish to ignore in the box and click "OK". I questioned the coaching staff on more than one occasion last season and each time I was crucified for speaking my mind, on what I perceived to be the problem. This year, a former player can come on here and state the Raceland coaching staff was outcoached and none of the other Raceland supporters bat an eye. The excuse in the past has always been laid on the lack of game plan execution by the players. You can’t have it both ways, so which is it?

 

I love Raceland football as much as the next supporter. There hasn’t been a day that I haven’t followed the goings on of the program, even during my four years in the Navy. I want nothing more than to see this program make it to the highest level possible, but sometimes you have remove the orange tinted glasses and speak the truth.

I disagreed with your opinion of the coaching staff last year and I haven't changed my mind. Same coaching staff this year, minus Coach Maynard. He has guided Russell to new levels this year and we are both 10-2. We were outplayed last year in Williamsburg. Now, we are all entitled to our opinion and I am around the coaches and players pretty much year round and I feel like I have a pretty good pulse on what is happening. Can coaches be good and still be outcoached? Sure. Can teams be better and lose? Sure (ask Pikeville). I don't think anyone around our team questions the players hearts or the coaches ability. But, this game is played by 15-19 year old BOYS and anything can and will happen. I prefer to be optimistic and find the good in a team and not complain too much......(I have been guilty of going overboard on the Westwood team but that has been addressed).

I am guilty of loving this..

Being outplayed & being outcoached don't always go hand-in-hand. You can actually lose a game and not be outcoached. One doesn't necessarily facilitate the other.
