I was thinking I would rather play T than Male, so I'm glad X gets to meet up with T one more time. Male's offense worries me more than T's does this year. Now before someone takes that comment and starts a new thread, T has a good offense, but they are not as explosive as they have been in years past, which means I believe X's defense matches up better. For X to win this game Noah Houk will have to play much better than he did against Manual.

I am pretty sure that we have no chance to keep it with 10 TDs. Houk's numbers will put Brian Brohm's and Tim Couch's to shame. Their run game will look like Shaun Alexander is in their backfield. Jerry Rice won't have anything on their receiving corps.

 

I may have to sneak in a full bottle of Makers jusy to make it through the first half.

I get what you're saying here, Male WAS the #1 Team in the State & you did get beat 30-13 by them and you did beat us, I would think the same way! :thumb:

T won last night on the road (against the team with both the best offense and the best defense in the district!) without their top receiver, one of their safeties, and Brooks at less than 100%. Another week to get healthy and I am thinking T takes this one. 33-21 Rocks.

In fact if X loses this game it would be akin to the Giants beating the undefeated Patriots, or David slaying Goliath, or Taffy 3 turning back the Center Force, or The Hurt Locker winning best picture over Avatar, or the rebels destroying both Death Stars, or Jamaica having a bobsled team, or Keri Strug sticking her landing, or the US beating the Soviets in 1980, or even Joker Phillips beating UT.

Even though X has lost 6 of the last 7 against T, maybe T should just go ahead and forfeit. Spare us alumni the horror of it all. Oh well, I still will have 22 state titles to 12 to somehow console me.

Way too many St X and Trinity fans believe that this will be a one sided affair similar to the game played earlier this year.

I'll go with the prediction that the team that turns the ball over the most will lose.

I think it would be pretty neat to see one of these playoff matchups at their home stadium. I know logistically it would be very difficult, but just think what the atmosphere would be like, opposed to a 50K seat stadium where there are may 12K fans.

 

Do the schools have to pay a fee to play at PJCS?
