I've always enjoyed going to Mason County to watch a game, Probably will go to some this year.

Mason loses a lot at the skill positions. Starting QB (Sergeant), starting DB/WR/P (Jett), starting DB (Hull), starting LB/FB (Mullikin), starting TE (Conley); not to mention linemen Turner and Carpenter.

I also saw the STAR QB quote. He may be the 2nd or 3rd string QB in '06.

Will Miller play?

Will Miller play?

In the fall, yes. Not sure yet about the spring game.

After making the drive from here in Ohio(LICKING COUNTY) to watch Mason play twice(They are 2-0 in those games) and speaking to the coach(Not sure he remembers me) but I have been following the team and really hope they have a great season.

I remember you. You are always welcome here.:thumb:

Will get to see the Royals again this season as they travel to West Liberty to take on Morgan County. Should be a good game.

I like the Mason Co. uniform, kinda like LSU style and didn't they use to have the Alabama style (number on the side) of the helmet?

We have the number on one side, and the ragin royal on the other. We tweaked our helmet paint and finally have what we want.

Thanks for the compliment- Coach Wood does a great job and you have a very good team.

Coach Thanks.

Are there any Thursday games this coming season for you guys?

Not this year. Sorry.

No matter what obsticles, what adversity, bad luck, etc., the bottom line is Coach Buchanan will give it all he has and put a team on the field that Mason County or any County for that matter will be proud of. Coach B is a person with high morals, high character and simply a class act. Having great knowledge of the game doesn't hurt either. I owe a lot to Coach B and will forever be blessed for knowing him and having the opportunity working with him YEARS ago. My best wishes go out to the young men at MCHS and to Coach B and his staff. Keep up the great job!!!

Coach Buchanan is the poster boy for surrounding yourself with good people, including Willy. Players, coaches, administrators, parents, community, etc. have all made us very successful. We still have the ultimate goal of a state title urging us on to do better and achieve our ultimate objective.

Lou Holtz has a great quote. "If you are patting yourself on the back for what you did yesterday, you have not accomplished much today."

We still have alot to accomplish. But, we enjoy the effort- like looking forward to practice this afternoon.

In many regards, football is too much fun to call work- we try to call it "effort" as much as possible.

Now it's looking like I will have to be out of town on Friday; hopefully someone will report on the spring game.

Not to worry papa. Although we do not carry the game live, I am sure that we will have some info on the local sports here at WFTM.

Our honorary coaches this year will be Sidney Baxter and Duane Lambert. Nathan Stahl will qb both teams. Practice has gone well, and we have made alot of progress. Looking forward to Friday.
