What does the Ashland/Highlands game being so close tell us about...

That HHS can completely self destruct and beat any team in 4A by 2 TD.

Any team?

Nope. You can bet the team and coaches know better. If they don't its going to be a short November.

I think it shows that this HHS team is not oozing with talent, just that they are talented and believe they should win.

I think a better question is what did the JC/CCH game say about CCH? I think it says that they have trouble getting the score closer than the last time they played HHS. CCH does not have any offense, no matter who is healthy and back playing, to keep up with Highlands.

Agreed, Ashland didn't live up to their expectations this season. I would imagine that they played their most complete game of the year last night. Which they still lost, but were in position to tie the game midway through the 4th. A more complete team that didnt rely on the run so much could have beat Highlands last night.

Makes zero sense.

I agree, it makes no sense to make it personal.

Funny thread. Gonna be even funnier next Saturday morning...

We can only hope lol

Nothing personal, your associating my expectations with HHS being inconsistent makes no sense. I would love to hear an analysis of their 12 games and their performances to see where this game could say they are inconsistent. I'm not seeing it.

If they had a Baker they could.

Don't let them get to you. They're just grasping for straws.

I think this game also tells us Highlands may be inconsistent.
