Cov cath will have a ton of confidence and momentum is what it means. Highlands better play better next week. Who is better? Highlands....but the best Team doesnt always win the game. Question will be can CovCath mentally win the game.

Looking forward to next Friday night. The Birds will be prepared just as much as cov. cath. will be. Big game. Next week is Highlands vs. Cov. Cath and everything goes out the window. Whole new ballgame next week.

I'm not sure what Jake longs numbers were, but if you combine his and Bakers you would probably be at or above the numbers elder put up. Both of these kids are just juniors.

 

Listened on the radio and from what I heard jake only got the ball a few times and when he did there wasn't much he could do with it. According to the radio they didn't use him to the outside at all. Had him running up the middle every play. I don't understand it but I'm not a coach.

I think it tells us how Highlands played tonight. Numerous mis snaps because of the cold conditions, short punt because of the cold conditions, missed opportunities inside red zone, 2 of at least and to give up two long runs to a 4* athlete. All with winning by 15. I think it tells you you better bring you A+ game and hope Highlands plays their C game and you might have a chance. Great effort by Ashland tonight. I will go out on a limb and say Highlands won't be playing anymore C games this year.

Personally I have nothing against highlands, they were the better team tonight. But if the cold weather was the reason for a semi close game tonight as tdyballgake says, you guys are screwed, because its gonna get colder.. and colder.. and colder.

You may hope it gets colder, but sat at football games on the first weekend of December that were warmer than tonight. Weather has nothing to do with it. Both teams play in the same conditions and may the best team win Which was the case tonight.
