Isaiah Collier Enrolls at North Laurel

Featured Replies

Coach Parrot has made it very clear that he will not only delay it as long as possible but fight it also.

Ahhhhhh the purity of HS sports in the great state of KY.

If the kid is somehow ruled eligible...I believe the soonest it would be is probably around the first of the new year. But just how he might be ruled eligible, I don't know. Seems he has a lot of strikes against him just reading from this thread in so far as being ruled eligible at his new school.

Most everyone is cool with this...but still crushing on Cordia  :lol2:

I guess since he's an instate transfer it's OK, we just don't like them out of state transfers unless they go to one of the flagship programs in limited quantities each year.

To be fair, Collier and 12 other kids didn't enroll at North Laurel. It was only one kid.

That's what I'm saying, as long as they are in-state or out of state and just not too many of them no one cares...Cordia just got Greedy!

We must be interpreting this thread differently. I am seeing most folks not cool with this.

Not really seeing any outrage at the transfer, just a little towards KHSAA

Danny and JNotrth seem to be the only ones questioning the authenticity of the transfer.

I am not cool with it. Crazy to move kid around that much.

Well, it's too early for anyone to question the KHSAA in this one. Either way, whether it is a post about the KHSAA or the authenticity of the transfer I still feel like a large majority of folks are not cool with this transfer. I'm thinking I am the only one not bothered by it.

I don't know all of the facts related to this particular situation, and no decision has been made yet, so sort of hard to get all irate about it one way of the other. Just on the surface with what I know about it, which I have learned from this thread, I have a HUGE problem with an athlete being at 4 different high schools. And if a kid IS found eligible in a situation like that, I sure would like to know the reasoning behind it. Could there be a legit reason? I guess there could be. But we have to wait and let this particular situation play out first I would think.

Jackson Co. has signed off on Collier. Khsaa expected to sign off today.
