Yes.

Feggins was a bust, for sure. Not head coach material. Nice to add his son to the team, but, not so much that what his coaching did to set the team back a few years. South Warren will be a contender these next 4 years while in 3a and will end up taking more and more of WCs players each year that by the time they actually get into 5a play, they'll be contending there, too. Wouldn't be surprised if WC ends up in 3a by the time the next alignment comes around. They'll be 4a starting next year and I could see them liquidating down that small over the next 4 years.

South moves to 4A next year where the honeymoon ends. They'll still be a solid team, but they will be playing a much more difficult schedule full of teams that can run. It won't be the same....

Uk is miss informed south MOVES to 4A next year the district is South Warren, Warren Central, Warren East, Allen County, and Franklon Simpson

I hate to see all the inner turmoil in Central. When it starts at the top and bleeds down you have to be disgusted at the staff for allowing it. South will slowly get the kids from Central and with the money being put into that program it may be the demise of a very good Dragon program. Just hate to see it...

There's been a lot of talk since he took the job that he was going to leave. Most believe he wants to coach at. Illegal level and has been in pursuit of another job all alone. I will say something was not right with this team it looked like they got worse as the season went alone. Whether he stays or goes I wish nothing but the best to that program as it gets prepared for next year and the future.

When you get delays of game coming out of timeouts and when kids can't get lines up on D, nor can you can get a full 11 to run out on punt, there's something wrong.

In reading all these comments I keep going back to my first impression when Feggins was announced as the Dragons Head Coach. That impression was not that he was coming into a situation that had known success both in the past and recently. He did not seem to grasp that there should be any respect shown for neighboring programs. The underlying thread I got from the man was that he was an NFL player, he was coming here from Highlands, and he was going to take over the local football scene.

I've been around and paid close attention to this areas football scene for a long long time. I've seen coaches roll in here from Tennessee, other Kentucky programs, etc that were going to take over things. Most failed miserably. Most did not have one shred of humility. They thought they were coming to be King.

In my opinion, this guy took all the good work done by Mike Rogers and flushed it. He took a program that was on the rise and put it teetering on the precipice of anonymity.

Do the community and Warren Central a favor MR. Feggins....find a nice job coaching wide receivers in Iowa or somewhere so Warren Central can get back on the track they were on.

This has a lot more behind it than just one game.

Whoa! Howard Feggins didn't come from Highlands. Heck, he calls us Highland after his son played there for three years. Howard was rarely at his sons games due to his other coaching responsibilities on the college level. I said all along there was a reason for him taking the WC job and that had to do with the next level for his son. IMO he will follow his son.

Didn't a guy named O'Leary lose his job before coaching his first practice because he misled a few folks with a few minor details:thumb:

 

If indeed this is a one and done, I hope the WC program take the negatives and turn them into positives and do not let such a very small detractor set you backwards.
