Here's the problem: If this coaching staff leaves them high and dry it will take a few years to recover. They will struggle with numbers. If the rumors are true of how much they paid this guy it is a real travesty.

If that is true, I feel sorry for his son. I am sure he did not like moving and changing high schools after his junior year. The football would have been better for him at HHS for sure but take the football out. To move 3 hours away from your friends and class mates after your junior year cannot be fun...especially just for your dad to coach one year at another school.

I find it funny most the Purples know the figures, but here I am with family teaching at the school and friends with Booster President, yet I have no clue what he's paid nor do I care.

WC was overrated all year. I knew when Desales dominated them early in the year that they weren't a 5a contender, with or without BGreen in the mix. At best, they were a 8 to 10 ranked 5a team, more likely just outside the Top 10..

Big win for the young Colonels. 4 Freshmen and 2 Sophmors started on Offense with 2 more started on Defense. I think WC and most folks looked at County's record and not realize they played a brutal schedule. By playing a such a tuff schedule prepared em for this game. What's amazing Christian's best WR Keron Catlett who lead the state in receiving yards only had 1 catch but returned a punt return for the go ahead score. RB Taylor had a great game with around 300 yards rushing. Christian Defense really played lights out in the 2nd half and turned the momentum for the

 

Now on to Graves. Last time the game was tied in the 4th quarter till the wheels came off due mostly by Cody Crider.

It's mostly BG fans asking who won the Central game when they already know the final score. Lots of shots being fired at Warren Central.

 

All of the Central fans are disgusted and shell shocked right now. No Emmitt Smith and some major Defensive Line losses was also mentioned.

I personally knew they'd played a difficult schedule, but the Hopkinsville result definitely gave me a false sense of security.

 

Central played a pretty tough schedule as well and it didn't seem to help them a single whit.

Of course, at least Central and Greenwood play Bowling Green. You have to figure that increases your odds at least 20% right there.
