Whoa! Howard Feggins didn't come from Highlands. Heck, he calls us Highland after his son played there for three years. Howard was rarely at his sons games due to his other coaching responsibilities on the college level. I said all along there was a reason for him taking the WC job and that had to do with the next level for his son. IMO he will follow his son.

 

Where ever he came from he did not make a very good first impression on this old observer. Or last impression (if that be the case).

I believe someone used a good name in vain...

 

Didn't a guy named O'Leary lose his job before coaching his first practice because he misled a few folks with a few minor details:thumb:

 

If indeed this is a one and done, I hope the WC program take the negatives and turn them into positives and do not let such a very small detractor set you backwards.

 

He'll stick around for more than a year, I'm sure the move for him was more about needing a job than pulling his son from a state contending team with a Top 5 QB in the state just to play for him for one season then bolt. His acceptance speech talks about building a "program" so I'm sure he'll be around.
