November 9, 201411 yr Acting like a dictator isn't an indictable criminal offense. Sounds to me like most of this impeachment talk has more to do with style than substance. You didn't answer the question.
November 9, 201411 yr Acting like a dictator isn't an indictable criminal offense. Sounds to me like most of this impeachment talk has more to do with style than substance. Acting like a dictator means you are violating the Constitution. A President who violates the Constitution can be found guilty of impeachment charges. Not that I trust the Supreme Court, but I would rather see the matter go before the court, rather than try to defund it or have impeachment charges brought up. I want to see the system work as intended by our Founding Fathers, not run by an acting dictator.
November 9, 201411 yr It's really bad both ways -- O trashing the will of the majority , and the constitution . And the repercussions of him making that move . He is very divisive person and doesn't respect opposing views . Kinda funny to go back and listen to him tell R's - " you don't like it -- go win some elections "
November 9, 201411 yr I'm NOT wanting an impeachment process , just curious what avenue the house and senate have when the president acts as dictator on issues of huge national importance . Even some members of his own party don't want the amount of amnesty he seems to be willing to make possible with a stroke of his all mighty pen .

Even some members of his own party don't want the amount of amnesty he seems to be willing to make possible with a stroke of his all mighty pen . That's the thing, he can't legally with the stroke of a pen. He can't make law, just enforce the laws as written. Congress (both houses) have let him get away with way too much. I'm not saying impeach him but if they make enough noise, the media will have to cover it.
November 9, 201411 yr O doesn't give a rats behind about the media or the majority -- he's a classic " do as I say " liberal .
November 9, 201411 yr I know the Obamunists won't answer because they never answer direct questions but does it bother any of you at all the this man seems to think that he can do anything he wants without congressional approval? Remember his own words, elections have consequences.
November 9, 201411 yr do liberal judges care about the majority on the issue of traditional marriage ? How many states have had the will of the people over riden by the federal govt ? ( not saying I agree or disagree on traditional marriage but are we ruledby a majority or not ? ) I know we are an elected representation but these were direct votes of the people that got discarded. Imo that's part of the reason people are losing faith in govt . Liberal policies are being advanced by Judical/ executive routes not the will of the people. Can you imagine the uproar if an R president attempted the type of power grabs O has ?

Remember his own words, elections have consequences. I can only speak for myself, but I don't see him that way. Also speaking only for myself, I'm normally prone to avoid any discussion with someone who refers to a group of people with a derrogative label and a declarative posed as a question by the simple inclusion of a "?" I'm thinking 1) Anything I offer will be summarily dismissed and 2)this is not an attempt to discuss, simply a ploy to create discord.
November 9, 201411 yr No, it's an attempt to show, as I believe, that for liberals the agenda is more important then the law.
November 9, 201411 yr No, it's an attempt to show, as I believe, that for liberals the agenda is more important then the law. I am not nearly as versed in EO as you. Is it illegal to use EO to pass legislation?
November 9, 201411 yr If the Mexicans want so bad to be Americans, why not just add them as a 51st state. We could go in and clean up the cartels, help each other's economy.

Can you imagine the uproar if an R president attempted the type of power grabs O has ? You mean like what Abraham Lincoln did during the Civil War? The fact of the matter is the Republicans in Congress have been so intent on "just saying no" that they've forgotten how to function as a legislative body.

You mean Harry Reid not bringing bills to the floor for a vote? I could have sworn he was a Democrat.
November 9, 201411 yr Are you for the POTUS, no matter which party, to ignore the Constitution and act like a dictator? Guess I'll post again and see if any of the Liberals will answer.
