You can see the photos of the windshield on channel 9. A 40 caliber Glock does not hold 4 bullets, that's how many holes were in the windshield. Getting your information from one (possibly biased) source isn't doing yourself any favors. He doesn't have a source, he was simply listening to AM radio.
November 10, 201411 yr Author Anything and everything about that girl should not even come into play when the DA was determining whether or not to indict the cop. PERIOD Whether she was drunk, high, had a past conviction, etc....that was all crap the cop didnt know when he made his decision to act. That is what I understood by listening to the ATTORNEY Lisa Wells. To say that it didn't matter if she was drunk, high etc. made no difference in this case is not true at all. Actually it makes a ton of difference when they try and figure out why she was fleeing. Actually it would have been worse if she was sober, at least then they couldn't say she wasn't thinking straight and her judgement wasn't affected etc. If you are saying the officer didn't know if she was intoxicated etc. that is true and makes what he did even more understandable. If he thought she was sober then he would have had no doubt she was trying to kill him.
November 10, 201411 yr You saw the video didnt you. He was on the side of the vehicle, his foot was obviously run over by her car. He got angry I am sure just as anyone would but he decided to jump on the hood ordering her to stop....then unloaded on her. You dont get your foot run over and then get hit head on causing you to be on the hood. Is that what you actually think happened? You really think an officer is going to jump on the hood of a car because they're angry? C'mon man that's just not how it played out.

I am going with he got angry she continued to try and leave and his foot was run over. Drunk or not, I am not buying he ran in front of the car and ordered her to stop and she hit him. You gotta look at the facts of the incident and her as just a suspect. Leave age, race, gender out of it. The same folks banging the drum saying she was just a teen female are the folks who are all against "profiling". Hypocrites. Let's stick with the facts instead of inserting politics into this discussion. Officers knew going in that this was a field party involving underage drinking and pot use. Officer Brockman said that in his statement. In other words, officers knew they were dealing with a bunch of squirrely kids, many if not most of them high on booze and dope, and many unable to follow commands much less operate a motor vehicle. And someone died because she panicked instead of following a lawful instruction. Very, very sad.
November 10, 201411 yr I have followed this story some and have read all of the posts up to this point. I don't have a dog in the fight, but I figured I would offer up my opinion. As unfortunate as this situation was I do believe that the proper outcome was decided. I do not believe that Deputy Brockman should had been indicted to face criminal charges. I honestly believe that he never had any intent on killing anyone that evening and what transpired were reactions to an out of control situation. However, I do believe that the situation could have been handled differently which may or may not have resulted in the death of Ms. Ramsey. A hefty civil settlement is likely to follow.

Probably because he used the other 12 in that shooting he was in early that night and just didn't think to reload his weapon. Why would any person law enforcement or not carry a 16 round weapon with only 4 loaded? I mean honestly you can't be serious? Also the photos I mentioned online at channel 9 also showed his service weapon as well as his magazines. But I guess you want someone to prove that those weren't tampered with as well right? Which is why I believe Officer Brockman had an unrealistic expectation of compliance from the partygoers, and the fact he was playing gatekeeper at the exit site still has me scratching my head. Shouldn't the assumption have been that every party participant was buzzed and not capable of driving?
