Heard from good source he has grown to 6'6". Kid is the real deal and has learned a lot under Coach Belcher. Suspect prep school for his senior year is in the plan.

I hope not, but only for the sake i'd like to get another year of him playing close by.

This will be his junior year. Suggest everyone catch his play for Pendleton when you can. Not many players like him come out of NKy very often.

I thought he posted that he wasn't coming back to Pendleton at the end of last year. Do we know where he is going yet? Did he change his mind?

He is legit 6'6....frame has filled out well also. Kid started with 22 vision early on and it derailed his recruitment a lot. He would easily have more offers had he been with someone else in that early period. I think he's with the Louisville Magic now, so hopefully it works out for him in July. He will be a bigger problem for the region this year than last. As for the team; I don't know about that one though. He will get a lot of junk defenses and double teams against the tougher teams. Dontaie has no interest in leaving PC until he graduates. He has a ton of pride in his school and community. The "Dontaie is leaving" rumors have been swirling since the kid was in Middle School. The were untrue then as they are now.

On the "Rumors" thing. Did he not say he was leaving? I thought he put that on Twitter that he had played his last game in a Pendleton Cty Uni. He might've changed his mind. I would like to see him stay as well. I think it's good for NKY.
