To be fair to UC they did play it somewhat as an exhibition with everyone playing early and often. They probably will not see an offense like that very often. If nothing else it teaches you how to see your man and the ball.

That's not very appealing to the average student, much less the general public. And, like NFL exhibition games, many schools price these games as they would regular season games.

And, like NFL exhibition games, many schools price these games as they would regular season games. The students were great, to be fair, that was the one saving grace. I stand by weak support -- and this isn't a new issue. I feel badly for Mick that there isn't more support / interest in his program. Looking at their schedule yesterday, I don't think they'll even get 8,000 in that building for a game until mid-to-late December when either San Diego State or VCU (or both) come calling. That is awful. That program, and that coach, deserve better.
