Wow Scott almost came back and won it.

3 muffed punts killed Scott tonight. They still fought back, and went for two to win with just under 5 minutes to play. Gutsy call, and I think the right call. Just didn't work out. Looking forward to the playoffs next week.

Congratulations to the Royals; surprised at this one.

I'm sure others are too.

Scott never quit tonight. They were down 21 to 0 and battled back. They played a heck of a ball game.

Love seeing the Eagles fight their way back. Congrats to Mason County on the win and good luck in the playoffs!

I don't know what Mason County team showed up at Fleming County, would consider Scott 2 touchdowns better than Fleming County. Don't count these Royals out in the playoffs

Mason County has a nice team. Well coached, disciplined. I don't think they made a mistake all night.

Scott really isn't that impressive. When they play an average/above average team, they fold. All this talk of recent success is a direct result of whipping up on bad teams during their first 4-5 games. They will not get any better unless they play tougher opponents.

Scott needs to start developing quarterbacks and balance the offense out.

It's coming. Remember, the feeder program is only 4 years old. This years freshman class only spent one year in that program, and they are still a year away from getting a class that spent more than a couple of years in that program.

As far as the offense, the single wing is run with great success in many areas of the country. Florida, California and Virginia are just a few states that have perennial powers that run the single wing and win state championships. If you've watched Scott over the last two years, they keep adding wrinkles to the offense. Remember, 5 years ago, no one even talked about Scott football.
