No Shave November

Featured Replies

I have had a tendency for years that when fall rolls around to stop shaving for awhile, but just like every year after a couple of weeks, and after my otherwise youthful face starts looking old with grey hair covering it, and the itchiness takes over, vanity jumps back to the forefront and begs for it to be removed.

I told myself this year why bother if you already know that you'll soon just scratch the idea. Last week I went about 5 days anyhow (which is less time than most years) and have already scratched the idea for a cleaner face.

I feel lucky to look younger than my true age, so instead of adding age to my looks with fuzz, I guess I'm gonna milk it for all its worth by staying clean shaven in an effort to look younger. It changes my whole perspective and outlook when I see an old guy in the mirror. It reminds me that my days are numbered, and I'm not too keen to be reminded of that daily.

I guess that I'm out.

A very sad and depressing post man. Have me in tears over here knowing that our days are numbered!! :)

Seriously, though, you are right. It is never fun to realize we are growing up, getting older, and before we know it we will be wondering where all the time went. It is a crappy concept, I would have liked to have stayed young forever! At least you are one of the lucky ones that still looks young ha ha!!!

A good post indeed, just don't make me so sad!

I'm in but I groom it. :D

That's what she said.

I'm in. It's No Shave November not No Groom Your Beard November. I'm in but I groom it. :D

Gotta keep the gray and white out right?

Sorry man...you're right... probably a bit too much melodrama in discussing just a few harmless whiskers. :lol2:

No women are allowed in this challenge.....just sayin

I've never grown a beard, don't know what this will look like but was thinking how fun the get together will look if we all looked like Duck Dynasty

Y'all are sexist!

Actually I groom it but I keep the gray and white in. It's my favorite part of my beard.

Some of us like our women shaved...:sssh:

There you go again sending this thread to the gutter...

Armpits are a must, btw. I was just talking legs.

I'm not shaving my legs

I could go a month and you would not know I did not shave. I'm out quicker than Kramer in the Seinfeld episode "The Contest"
