No date is going to be perfect for all of us. Though I am not exchanging any vows, 12/13 would be tricky for me, too.

I've recently turned 50 and have a colonoscopy (just lovely, huh?) scheduled for November 18th, so the 17th and the 18th are out for me. Have never been through this before so I don't know how long it takes to get back to your old self when it's all over with.

 

You'll be fine by that evening if your procedure is scheduled for morning. Worst part is the "at home prep" the day before. You're gonna LOVE that! (By the way, are they giving you a pill or the drink mix?)
