Southwestern 14 Pulaski County 0

Wow. Pulaski showed a lot of weakness against Mad. Southern. Guess they have been exposed.

They are a different team without their quarterback, Riley Hall. It is a double whammy for their offense because one of their best wide receivers has to play quarterback so they are significantly weaker at 2 positions on offense. They have a decent running game but it all keys off of Hall's ability to pass. If he comes back healthy for the playoffs the Maroons could very well beat the Warriors by 14-21.

What is the word on Hall?

I was planning to come down next week but probably won't now.

I forgot they lost their QB. Definitely a huge loss. Any word on when he may be back

Hats off to Coach French and Southwestern

From 1-9 to 8-2 and District Champs!

I heard 5 weeks. He went down to Auburn and had surgery to set the collarbone. I don't know how he's progressing. That would put him back for the regional final if the Maroons can survive that long without him. Personally, I think 5 weeks for a quarterback is a little bit ambitious but that's just an opinion.

5 weeks seems way too soon... wayyyy too soon

Belfry's Cameron Catron broke his in the opener and wont be cleared until next week at the earliest.

On Hall at least it is his non throwing shoulder.

Not surprised by this game at all, in fact I thought a few weeks ago that SW would/could beat them before Hall went down.

I heard 3 weeks, that he was 2 weeks ahead of schedule.

Called it.

Only you, mcpapa, commander, me and 2 others picked SW on the Pick 10 Contest this week.
