I've been there many times in the drive-in days. I just never saw the entrance as I was in the trunk of the big old Oldsmobile.

Head towards Dixie High School. Across the street in the International Village is a pizza place Garzelli's that has a nice little bar with a decent selection of brew.

 

While it's always crowded Flip Daddy's in Union by Kroger has a really nice burger and a big selection of beer.

If you want to go REALLY old school go to the Dixie Club on the corner of Dixie and Commonwealth Ave. It makes the 915 look like a brand new chic establishment.
