malachicrunch Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Swapped out the 3 story 4 bedroom house for a nice little two bedroom condo in Florence. Gonna miss the Fort, but it took me 7 minutes to get to work today. Love it!

malachicrunch Posted October 10, 2014 Author Posted October 10, 2014 Next task is to find new hangout. We prefer quiet mom and pop close by where we can have a quiet beer or two and some decent food. Any suggestions?

Clyde Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Know where Florence Drive In used to be? I've been there many times in the drive-in days. I just never saw the entrance as I was in the trunk of the big old Oldsmobile.
Clyde Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Know where Florence Drive In used to be? Head towards Dixie High School. Across the street in the International Village is a pizza place Garzelli's that has a nice little bar with a decent selection of brew. While it's always crowded Flip Daddy's in Union by Kroger has a really nice burger and a big selection of beer.
mcpapa Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 One of the great things about BGP is the "local watering holes expertise".
Clyde Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 If you want to go REALLY old school go to the Dixie Club on the corner of Dixie and Commonwealth Ave. It makes the 915 look like a brand new chic establishment.
